Text Messages.
PrevenTech sends a small number of text messages, and every one of them is about a specific scheduled inspection. This page sets out who receives them, the exact words people agree to, what the messages say, and how to stop them.
We never send marketing by text.
PrevenTech Facility Solutions sends appointment reminder text messages about scheduled commercial property inspections. We send no marketing, promotional or sales messages by text, to anybody, ever.
Agreeing to receive these messages is entirely optional, and it is never a condition of buying, using or being paid for any PrevenTech service. An access contact who is not opted in still receives the appointment confirmation email and its calendar invitation for every inspection.
Who receives messages
Building access contacts
- What they get
- A reminder of the inspection appointment at the building they look after, carrying the time, the address and a link to the appointment details.
- When
- 24 hours before the inspection, in the building's own local time. Where three or more of one contact's buildings are inspected on the same day, they receive a single message covering all of them rather than one each.
- How we obtained consent
- The property owner provides the contact's mobile number during building setup, under a signed service agreement, and confirms on that form that the contact has agreed to receive these messages.
PrevenTech inspectors and contractors
- What they get
- A reminder of the inspection they are about to carry out, carrying the building, the start time and a link to that building's field checklist.
- When
- 30 minutes before the inspection starts. Several buildings on one day arrive as a single message, in the order they are to be worked.
- How we obtained consent
- Contractors enter their own mobile number when they complete onboarding with us, on a form that states what will be sent to it.
How consent is obtained
Both of our consent forms are reached by a private link we send to one named person, so they cannot be opened from this website. Below is the exact wording each form carries, word for word, together with a screenshot of the form itself. Every checkbox starts unticked, and nothing is sent to a number until somebody has ticked it.
Opt-in 1 of 2
The client, during building setup
A property owner enters the mobile number of the person who gives our inspector access to each building. This note sits under every one of those fields:
We text this number the day before each inspection. Reply STOP opts out.
And this attestation sits above the button that continues to the next screen. It is a single unticked checkbox, and leaving it unticked still continues:
Text-Based Inspection Reminders: I confirm the access contacts above agreed to be texted at the numbers I provided. After scheduling by phone call, they receive one reminder the day before each inspection. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out.

Opt-in 2 of 2
The contractor, during onboarding
An inspector or sales contractor enters their own mobile number when they join us. This note sits under that field:
We text this number about 30 minutes before each inspection you are assigned.
And this disclosure sits above the button that confirms their details, which is the affirmative act:
By confirming these details I agree to receive text messages from PrevenTech about inspections I am assigned, at the mobile number above. Message and data rates may apply, and I can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them.

What the messages say
These are the only four messages this system sends. Each one names PrevenTech, fits a single message segment, and links to a page about that specific inspection on our own domain. We use no URL shorteners.
