Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.preventechfs.com(the “Site”) and the services offered through it by PrevenTech Facility Solutions (“PrevenTech,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, requesting a quote, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What we do, and what we are not
PrevenTech provides commercial property inspection and documentation services. We inspect buildings, photograph and record their observed condition, and deliver written reports to the client who engaged us.
PrevenTech is not a Public Adjuster (PA) firm. As such, our office does not manage claims on our clients’ behalf. We are not an insurance carrier, agent, broker or producer, and we are not a law firm. Our role is strictly limited to that of a hired consultant.
3. Service agreements control
Inspection services are provided under a separate written service agreement that you accept before work begins. That agreement states the scope, the term, the fees and the parties’ obligations in full. Where these Terms and a signed service agreement conflict, the signed service agreement controls.
4. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or use automated means to extract data from it.
Some pages on this Site are reached only by a private link we send you, including quotes, invoices, building setup, work orders and reports. Those links are personal to the record they open. Please do not share one with anybody who should not see its contents.
5. Quotes, pricing and payment
Prices shown on the Site are estimates generated from the information provided and are valid for the period stated on the quote. A quote is an offer, not a contract, until it is accepted.
Payment terms, billing cadence, renewal and cancellation are set out in your service agreement. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are the client’s responsibility.
6. Text messages (SMS)
PrevenTech Facility Solutions sends appointment reminder text messages about scheduled commercial property inspections. We send no marketing, promotional or sales messages by text, to anybody, ever.
Who receives messages, and how they agreed
Two groups receive text messages from us, and both agree before we send anything. A building access contact is reminded of an inspection at the building they look after, 24 hours ahead. A PrevenTech inspector or contractor is reminded of an inspection they are assigned, 30 minutes ahead. Agreeing to receive these messages is optional, and is never a condition of buying, using or being paid for any PrevenTech service. Full details of who consents and how are on our text message page.
- Message frequency
- Message frequency varies with the inspection schedule. A building access contact receives one message per scheduled inspection, typically a handful per year. An inspector receives one message per inspection they are assigned.
- Message and data rates
- Message and data rates may apply. PrevenTech charges nothing for these messages.
- Opting out
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them at that number. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT or CANCEL, or email or call us and we will remove the number by hand.

Your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information generally.
7. Intellectual property
The Site, its design, text, graphics and the PrevenTech name and marks are owned by PrevenTech and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. Inspection reports are prepared for the named client and for the purposes stated in the service agreement; the client may use their own reports freely for those purposes, and third parties acquire no rights under our engagements.
8. Disclaimers
Our Key Disclaimers are incorporated into these Terms and apply to every page of this Site and to all PrevenTech services. They set out, among other things, the limits of a visual inspection, that no insurance outcome is guaranteed, and that website content is provided for general information and may change without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrevenTech’s total liability arising out of any service is limited to the fees actually paid for that service, and PrevenTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Dispute resolution for inspection services is governed by the service agreement you accepted.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes to these Terms do not alter a service agreement already in force.
